For Sale: 1969 Plymouth Road Runner in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for sale in Pittsburgh, PA

1 of 50
Vehicle Description It's a 1969 Plymouth Road Runner with a 440 and it's now available from the MAXmotive Pittsburgh Showroom.
It also sports power front disc brakes, power steering, and the proven 727 TorqueFlite automatic transmission.
A true Road Runner, this one had its original 383 upgraded to a 440 and the manual transmission was replaced with an automatic.
The motor is based on a 1977 440 block, one known for its beefiness, and it was treated to an Edelbrock Performer open air intake for a fierce look as well as the performance, topped by the reliable Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor.
An electronic ignition system keeps all the candles lit.
The transmission installation is made complete with a factory slapstick shifter in a woodgrain center console with the storage compartment and courtesy lights.
A Sunpro tach is mounted in the classic column position and a Summit temp gauge helps you monitor the work of the electric cooling fan on the radiator.
The car runs great with the appropriate lope in the idle and the doors open with no drop and close smoothly denoting a nice, solid car.
Black exterior paint contrasts with the white vinyl inside and the chrome Cragar wheels and white letter radials for a classic muscle car look and easy handling.
The genuine Road Runner horn and V21 code Performance Hood Treatment with the trademark power bulges and engine callouts are here as well.
Here's an outstanding opportunity to own one of the true icons from the peak of the muscle car era, a 1969 Plymouth Road Runner.
