Vehicle Description Authentic 2005 Saleen S281 SC Supercharged Ford Mustang For Sale.
Left front bumper production number - #659 Dashboard production number - #05 - 0659 Color:
Legend Lime (Only made in 2005 & 2006) 5 Speed Manual / Saleen Shift Knob Miles:
68,500 ( Amsoil Signature Series Oil used since bought with 3,000 miles in June, 2013.
Original factory Saleen upgrades:
Saleen drilled rotor brake upgrade and Saleen calipers Saleen Racecraft Suspension Saleen center outlet exhaust Saleen badged leather ribbed seats Drivers side power sear with lumbar button adjustment for racing.
20 inch Saleen 6 spoke chrome wheels upgrade - I painted them black after a few years and still have them in garage off of the Saleen.
I purchased new 20 inch 5 spoke wheels off of American muscle in Gunmetal Grey color and faces of them are ceramic coated.
Purchased with new Hankook tires August, 2022.
Upgrades installed:
Stage 3 Brenspeed Corvette Killer Package 550
brake horsepower.
Installed by Wolfpack speed Saleen tuner in Pittsburgh, Pa.
Custom dyno tuned to 478 horsepower at the rear wheels and 550 at crank.
Stock numbers were 400 horses.
Everything else interior and exterior is original.
Not a trailer queen, but taken care of.
Never launched, abused, or taken to a track.
Mostly used to cruise around in the Summer and Fall.
Everything works as should except a few things.
Air conditioner could use to be fixed, the electronic fuel gauge works but the analog one is sticking at full.
It is cold here in garage in winter so should work as it heats up better.
The numbers on the original Shaker 500 Ford sound system look weird on the buttons at night, may need new buttons.
Supercharger oil will need changed at 100,000 miles.
Besides that.
this Saleen is very powerful and runs great, well taken care of like said.
Could use a some i's dotted and T's crossed to be a show car but wouldn't take a whole lot.
It steals the attention anywhere you pull in, especially with kids and their dads.
Everyone says their car is rare but this is a more rare color on the list of Saleens ever made.
Not the most rare but it is one of the least made if you call Saleen and get production numbers.
I am selling because I want to put the money into my business I have solely.
I enjoyed this Saleen a great deal and now it is time for someone who really wants this specific vehicle to come pick it up and enjoy it.
